How to clean an oil painting

To clean an oil painting use a soft, clean cloth or cotton swabs and beaten egg whites. Apply gently. Egg whites removes dust and dirt, doesn’t spoil the paints and gives a fresh look to the painting.

Garlic juice is also used for cleaning oil paintings. Garlic juice cleans the surface of paintings and destroys the microorganisms that cause aging of paints. After cleaning wipe with a soft dry cloth.
