Stale bread in the pantry is not a bad thing!
My favorite way to use stale white or whole wheat breads is to transform them into breadcrumbs.
Fresh homemade breadcrumbs taste far better than store-bought breadcrumbs.
You can use breadcrumbs for cooking hamburgers and chopped steak, breaded fish, cordon bleu or various sauces.
Crumble stale bread in the food processor or grate it.
Store breadcrumbs in cool, dry area in the iron can; keep tightly covered after opening. Breadcrumbs can be stored for a long time if they have been stored properly.
When we cut onions, we break cells, releasing enzymes that irritate our eyes. Water helps avoid tears when cutting onions. Put some water in your mouth and let it hang out while chopping. Do not swallow the water, until you finish cutting. Also you can cut onions in the sink under running water.
Use a very sharp knife while cutting onions. A sharp knife will cause less damage to an onion, and fewer irritants will be released.
A tip from the Chef: A sip of white wine will prevent tears when chopping onions.
Fruits and vegetables will be protected from mold while storing, if you put a sponge for washing dishes into the vegetable storage container. To get rid of mold in a storage container, clean it with vinegar water solution to kill mold spores. Wipe the container with vinegar and remove the residue with a dry cloth. Then leave to dry. If possible, dry it in direct sunlight. Vinegar and direct sunlight destroy spores of mold.
To prevent mold, wipe vegetable storage container this way every two weeks.

To prevent water from bubbling over, when you cook, put a wooden spoon over the top of the pot.
You can serve a finger bowl filled with warm water and a piece of lemon each time you offer a hands-on meal such as lobster, ribs, corn-on-the-cob, fried chicken, shellfish, asparagus or chicken wings. Dip your fingers into the water, rinse them lightly and then dry with your napkin.
The finger bowl is usually served before the meal or immediately after the plate has been removed.

How to chill a beverage fast
After you have come from the grocery, separate your radishes from the greens. Wash the radishes and rinse them thoroughly with cold water. Then wrap them in a damp cloth, put them in a jar or bowl and store in the fridge. You can keep radishes longer for 5-6 days this way without losing their crunch and flavor. Before serving radishes, soak them in ice cold water to refresh.
If radishes start to lose some of their crunch, put enough water in the jar and put the radishes in it. Place them in refrigerator and they will become fresh as new.
